How to Connect Your Meteocontrol blue'Log series (X-1000 to X-6000) to the Novasense Portal via SFTP

The SFTP/FTP push feature requires a licensed blue'Log XM/XC. Please contact your local Meteocontrol support for assistance with this process.

Configuring the blue'Log Datalogger​

The datalogger can be configured locally or by using remote configuration.

  1. Settings: Go to Plant > SFTP/FTP Push.
  2. Activate Push: Activate the Push service toggle.
  3. Configure Connection:
  • Protocol: Choose SFTP
  • FTP Server: Provided by the Novasense Support
  • Port: Provided by the Novasense Support
  • FTP Username: Provided by the Novasense Support
  • FTP Password: Provided by the Novasense Support
  • FTP Directory: Provided by the Novasense Support
  1. Set Interval: Select the transmission interval to 15 minutes

Correct date and time settings on your loggers are very important. Please ensure that you set the correct time zone, including any applicable daylight saving times for your region. Ideally, synchronize the date and time from a time server (NTP) if supported by your device.
